Wisdom for Today:“Learn From Instruction”
Proverbs 10:17 (KJV)
He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
Proverbs 10:17 (AMP)
He who learns from instruction and correction is on the [right] path of life [and for others his example is a path toward wisdom and blessing],
But he who ignores and refuses correction goes off course [and for others his example is a path toward sin and ruin].
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (AMP)
16 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; 17 so that the man of God may be complete and proficient, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Read the Scriptures daily; it will instruct you, correct you, and train you in righteousness. To ignore reading and obeying God’s word daily is to refuse his instructions for that day. It’s better to have God instruct you than having to learn from your mistakes. How have you been learning?
May all the blessings of wisdom be yours continually.
